imperfection is perfection
Welcome to my non-fiction, erratic story from my time in an Anglicare rehabilitation centre that was actually some sort of cult or sect, complete with strict rules and an initiation ceremony… of sorts. Everything written within this story is based on scribblings I kept while I was there, as one of the mandatory rules was that we kept a nightly diary. Nearly five years later I am finally finishing what I started, as I not only think this is an entertaining story, but at the core of the story is hope, and if one person reads it and feels better about their own addiction, then I have done my job.

So far this is an amazing account of what you went through to break your habit. It’s scary, humorous, sad and very uplifting. You should see if you can get this published in a book form if you haven’t done so already

I’d love to hear more from you on the story, there are five chapters and I am transcribing the sixth at the moment. Would love to hear your thoughts, and thanks so much for the kind words!
Andyeah, the plan is to get it published, somehow, a physical copy would be amazing but hey, maybe I can make it an e-book and sell it that way.
First thing though, I need to finish it! There are ten chapters so I’m over the halfway mark, just gotta keep on trucking. Its a pain cos I am transcribing from diaries that are over five years old
