  1. I’ve seen most of these films and I can tell you you’re in for a treat. Apocalypse Now is my personal favorite film, and Citizen Kane, Raging Bull, Psycho, and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari are amongst my all-time faves as well.

    • Cheers! I recall renting Apocalypse Now yeeeeears ago but I didn’t understand it, I was way too young. Can’t wait to dig my teeth into that one now. I’ve also been meaning to watch Oldboy for many years

  2. Really good list you have there Jordan. I have not seen Seven Samurai,Once Upon a Time in the West,The Man who Fell to Earth or The Cabinet of Dr Caligari either. Psycho and Eyes WIthout a Face are good mind fuck ones(Even if you already know the endings) excited to read your reactions to them

  3. The five I’ve seen are amazing. You’re in for a treat, and I presume the other 7 will be just as good, if not better.

  4. What an amazing list, Jordan! I’ve seen all of them except for Seven Samurai (but I made a New Year’s resolution to watch it in 2016, hah, let’s hope I manage to stick to it!) and you’re in for a treat. They’re really all great and amazing films – and very different, which makes it even more exciting, I think. I’m looking forward to reading your thoughts about them! 🙂

    • Yeah I deliberately tried to pick a good variety… some older ones, some foreign ones, a silent film, I think its a good list. Hopefully this year I stick to it and watch them all!!

    • fingers crossed here too! I’m gonna set reminders in my phone so I don’t completely forget like I did last year. It’ll be interesting to see how we see those films we both have on our list.

    • Thanks! Of all of them, Seven Samarai is the one I am most looking forward to. I loved ‘Ran’, I really wanna see more of Kurosawa’s work.
