SURVIVOR, VICTIM OR ESCAPEE?

‘Survivor’ of a cult cleverly disguised as a drug rehab centre, come laugh at the hilariously demented tales in my now 10+ year long project: The Archway Chronicles.

  2. Yay! Well done, Jordy. You like beanies! You like shoes! You’re my kind of person! I’ve often thought I’d like to do a series of portraits of people in their beanies. And now I think I’ll do it. But I’m also a world class procrastinator so we’ll see. πŸ™‚

    • You too man!! And thank you!! I still can’t believe I made it a year, my doctor will be thrilled. That may sound odd but he always talks to me about my writing – cos if I’m doing a lot of it I’m usually doing well.

      • he is the best in my state. I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a ‘neuropsychiatrist’… hell it comes up as a spell error!! So he’s a neurologist and a psychiatrist all in one person… and he is from South Africa. Total bad ass!!! He is a professor too πŸ˜€

  3. Happy Blog-birthday!! Glad I discovered you on Tom’s blog (DSB), you’ve done a great job in just a year Jordan, keep up the great work!

  4. Outstanding work Jordan, I can’t believe you’re blog is so young, it feels way more experienced than that! πŸ˜€ (I hope that comes off as a compliment, I mean for it to, anyway! haha)

Lots of good JD trivia there, too. Impressive that you drum, play bass and write lyrics. Damn boy. That’s talent. I tried to write lyrics for a “band” I was “a part of” once, but they were shit. And I put all those words in quotes because we basically fell apart as a unit about a month and a half into a few half-hearted sessions. Hahaha. Being a part of something like that is a huge commitment. Kudos to you

    • Hahahaha that’s funny you put all the words in quotes. We’re a bit rough around the edges cos everyone’s lives are so busy we can’t get together and practice enough… except for mine, I have NOTHING going on haha so its kinda frustrating, but that’s why I’m teaching myself bass, so I can more write songs for us.

The main guy I play with, we’ve been together for a fair while… in four different line-ups… we’ve basically had a revolving door of guitarists. We’ve just found one, he fits the bill and likes the stuff we like, so I can’t wait to have a jam with him. Then we can record the PSH song Eric wrote haha!!

And those words do come off as a compliment, thanks so much for the kind words mate!
